Career Development Training for Individual Artists

July 1, 2010

The Durham Arts Council, in partnership with the The Durham Art Guild, The Town of Chapel Hill Office of Public Art, the Orange County Arts Commission and the Chatham County Arts Council, is pleased to present three different career development opportunities for individual artists in all disciplines and representatives of small/emerging arts organizations.

The programs include an all-day workshop, a two-hour lecture, and individual consultations and will be conducted by Rory Golden, Program Officer for Fiscal Sponsor Programs at the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). NYFA Learning programs serve thousands of artists through workshops, panel discussions and individual mentoring. NYFA's Fiscal Sponsoship program is one of the largest and most established in the country and helps artists and organizations raise and manage over $3 million annually.

All events will take place at the Durham Arts Council building at 120 Morris Street in downtown Durham. For directions visit www.durhamarts.org or call 919-560-2787.
