Summer Camp Instructors

Durham Arts Council is currently seeking instructors for our summer cultural camp program. Specific needs include a theater instructor and a dance instructor for ages 7–13 in addition to a performing arts/storytelling instructor for ages 5–6. A master degree in teaching or fine arts is preferred, but equivalent experience is considered. Please submit cover letter and resume to ltannenbaum@durhamarts.org. Teen Intensive Instructors

Durham Arts Council is currently seeking teen intensives instructors for our summer camp program. Specific needs include digital arts, game design and photography instructors for ages 13 through 17. Ceramics Instructor

Durham Arts Council is currently seeking a ceramics instructor specifically with proficiency in wheel throwing to teach weekdays, daytime and evening, starting in Summer 2019. DAC School's contracted ceramics instructors enjoy teaching in beautiful and well-equipped studio and share with DAC a 50/50 split of all tuition collected per class. Voice Instructor

Durham Arts Council is currently seeking individual music lesson instructors for voice lessons for its growing lesson program. DAC's music teaching faculty is composed of experienced professional musicians and educators skilled and highly qualified in pedagogy and performance with a commitment to quality and professionalism. Durham Arts Council is currently seeking painting instructors to teach primarily evening classes in watercolor, acrylics and oils beginning Fall 2019. DAC School's contracted instructors share with DAC a 50/50 split of all revenues collected per class. A Master of Arts degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is considered.
